This is part 19 in a series of blog posts that I am dedication to my favorite photos of 2009. Today’s inductee and now a resident in my “Cycling” photo album is “Ride“. I took this photo November 28th, 2009 at 11:24 am. Kind of a crappy photo but this is a series on my favorite photos, not necessarily my best ones. Still though considering it was taken with my Apple iPhone, its not too shabby.

This shot is of my friend Ed S. and I as we embark on one of our last mountain bike rides in the Pattee Canyon area for 2009. Seems fitting that this photo is posted a couple days after I met Ed on his first mountain bike of the 2010 season in almost the same spot. Interesting.

Yesterday I covered 82 miles in zone 1 going knobby all the way. For the 5 hour journey I rode with Carbo Rocket and Perpetium for my hourly pit stop snacks. I ventured over Lolo Pass and into Idaho. It was a relaxing ride and I felt pretty darn good. Could of kept going but I knew I had to return home to prepare for this week and all the benefits of life it will provide.

I have my tea in front of me now and it shall begin.
