#flashback to a better time when I was not looking out a window here in Livingston watching it snow.

Hurricane Cliffs
I am thankful to have done some pretty cool adventures so today I want to look back at some of my favorite moments.

East Fork Virgin River
Wish we could go back to …
I wonder if I could ride my bike down that? BLM land Mo and I biked a couple hours and came to this. -

Gooseberry Vistas
Oh boy, the winter blues are really tightening their icy grip on us, aren’t they? The snow’s stacking up like there’s no tomorrow, and the sun’s decided to take a sabbatical. So, what’s the game plan to dodge this frosty funk? How about we plunge into a cozy wave of nostalgia with a good old-fashioned slideshow flashback? Feels like a hug from the inside, right?

Another Valley of Fire Slideshow
Just can’t shake off my fascination with the Valley of Fire. It’s like the park is spellbound, despite being a bit rough around the edges, thanks to a touch of mismanagement and wear.

Hell of a Desert Slideshow
A flashback to last year and some desert images that I have stowed away in my personal cache. -

Going to Valley of Fire
If you’re going to the Valley of Fire it is wise to plan ahead to capture one of the non reservable campsites. We’d like to stay at Lake Mead and then sneak in during the morning and grab a spot. This is a great place to explore. This video also includes a tutorial on how to get water if you’re a bighorn sheep. In the meantime check out our Desert Gallery.

I’ll Run This loop
While Mo works in Yellowstone, I head home to Livingston. The only thing there is a ride on the BLM. Not Bill lee Martin … BLM.
Bike ride. You don’t know what you had until you lose it. I’m talking about my foot. I swear if I get another chance I will run this loop.•••
Maybe not, but right now that is what I feel.

Going Farther
I went extra today. Wow, only 1.3 miles you say? Yep! My broken foot is trying to adapt to shoes again. Why shoes? To protect me from stubbing my clubfoot into another obstacle. Like I did yesterday. That is all. -
Morning Walk
My toe hurts this morning. It feels like a fat sausage and it wants to point up. I can’t wear my slippers because they have too much “cush” and the rest of my foot sinks while the little piggy struggles upward, not wanting to be with the rest. It feels good going nomad and bare-footed. So maybe I need to train it to be like the rest of the toes and hold their own in a shoe. I feel a lot like my toe.

Yellowstone Lake Photos
This rare but bautiful slideshow created with #magisto … do you remember slideshows? I added the music Jazzy Winter by Guustavv for some mood.
