Blue wants in, We are out exploring on our snow-shoes, and Elle is still going.
  • Christmas Card

Coming clean. I automate everything. Including the posting of all blogs and media. Well, except for these words, which I added today. So yea, my real life is not is sync with social perceptions. I feel it is important to post bad things in life and not just the good. Social threads are depressing us and making us think everyone’s life is great … except ours. Life is ok right now, but not great. Mom’s in the hospital. It left dad to his own devices even though he doesn’t have any devices left. Almost like a homeless person with a unfamiliar home. Without mom, it is not home. Anyway, life is tough. I have to return to work today to get caught up and hoping something turns in their favor. Let’s all get over ourselves and move on… it will be us soon enough. Isn’t this card fun. Embrace the devil man.

No it is not christmas. And I am tired of playing F1 style star trek posts. Just looking at a christmas photo. This was fun. Today is not fun.

  • j19

Travel log j19 in the 23. We have been looking at the good datasets but today the worse. And seemingly the not so favorite state campground that Oregon has provided. Still the current data points to a better land. We shall begin to plan a move. With no cell coverage we are getting numerous static signals from the homeland. All is bad and mom and dad have met their biggest roadblock. Mom is being taken away and no one can find dad. We will plan to stop collecting data and return to home base.

  • J11

Snowlog j11 of the year 23. Also known as pay day chore day. As I pay the bills it is nice to know I actually can because there was a time that I culdn’t. And just look back to the holiday setup and feast. Today I will grill and raise a selser water to those times.

  • J10

Snowlog j10 of the year 23. Today we received a gift I made to myself. A larger TV … so I can see the damn text!

  • J9

Snowlong j9 of the new year 23. We missed another campout weekend. And instead of focusing on that today we will just look back in appreciation, because that is what we do, at christmas in the new lodging situation. It is a great devil dust beach home with magnificant views and a big deck to enjoy the holidays.

Snow log saturday j7. We are finished and everything turned out great. Good for us as now we head out to test and enjoy. It is the weekend. We must get out and fight.

  • J6

Snow log January 6th. Time for another project to try and beat back depression. I think I’m going to try and make our new Dometic faucet more appealing. Also we will need to make under the counter more organized.

The final product folks. We have storage under the galley table. We have the passenger seat work area. And we have a picnic style for when someone sits on the bench.

  • J3

Today we are taking a sheet of metal and extending the B-Pilar in our van. We call it the B-Pilar extension kit.

  • J2

In today’s news we have decided to use a Ikea-like chopping block to put a Lagun table in our van.

  • Time ⏲️ ⏳️

TikTok TikTok, time is ticking away until summer. Better get stuff done. I’m glad I have two hands and some tools to get things done.

  • Sun

When it comes out one must appreciate it. One must give thanks for it and must get outside and soak it up.

  • What To Do?

Here is the stats. Last week -22 degrees. Yesterday almost 50 degrees. Rain all day. Snow for the last 2 months straight. It is a real mixed bag outside. Too bad I like outside. Thankfully we have a tool for such situations. BEER!

  • Is this Christmas?

Will this be it? Will we be stuck in a winter storm? The answer is YES. I am certainly grateful for the memories. Especially, my web site, where I can go back and relive the good times. https://williammartin.com/0000/12/27/

  • Long Ride

I am so thankful that fat bikes are now accepted and even expected. I can appreciate the lack of stress to ride out and into the Rattlesnake in the winter without any angry stares or comments. I am grateful to have a friend that made all this possible. Can you guess that friend?
