There’s this old road going up Pine Creek.
Purple and bold, doesn’t look friendly.

Pine Creek is unique and almost makes you feel like you are in why somewhere like in a volcanic area.

Today was a hot day to be climbing the ridge.

Things started to look nasty as we approached the junction with Dry Creek Trail
Well I made it to the turnaround point in The Junction to North Dry Creek. Snuggles had already turned around because of the impending thunderstorms. -

The new dining hall on the campus of Montana State University Bozeman. … then back out to a trail to go mountain biking
Out for a quick evening Enduro run. … I kind of feel like I’ve been run over by a truck.

The morning sun hit our tent and I attempt to dry my gear from the hike up last night.
A beautiful morning here in the Absaroka.
Home for two days … maybe three.

Relaxing in the morning while I run around shooting video with my Pixel 2. 
With the morning fire dwindling we need to get going, time to pack the packs. 
And we begin to climb … 
And … CLIMB 
The last bit of daylight to make the surge to the last lake were we are hoping there is a place to put a tent.

After a short drive from home we cracked a couple and set up camp.
Introducing Sneaky Snake.
Sneaky Snake might just be a stick but he warmed up to his new family very quickly.
We hit the sack early because the hike in was going to be a big climb all the while Sneaky Snake stood guard. -
Happy Text-aversary
It’s 10:42 PM … way past his bedtime. A text came in during a ride resulting in a crash and getting home late. He scrambled to figure out how to reply to a text while the phone was in disrepair.

Livingston Living
So this is our new couch. It has a centerfold down that holds a soda and popcorn. So yeah, our front room is fashioned after a movie theater I guess. We like movies 🙂
so I needed this Contraption to keep my chain while I had my wheel off on the bike… Super nice people here in Livingston. -
