Today’s ski conditions were fantastic. But as I skied my way up the canyon my mind drifted to the pile of car parts in my front seat. There is a light and some mangled plastic. All these items from the front of my beetle. On my way to Bozeman Creek my concentration was relaxed for just a moment. It was all that mishap needed to grab the chance for me to loose traction and start sliding off the road just feet from the parking lot. I slammed into a frozen wall of ice and got stuck. But that was it … the rest of the day on the groomed trails my mind was absorbed by the sun and winter wonderland.
1 hour later I passed the man who helped pull me out of the ditch.
“Hey no problem … don’t you wish everything was that easy”
