Just got back from a great day of hiking. First of all, I would like to thank Monica for a great time.
We hiked Monadnock Mountain in southern New Hampshire. It was a perfect hike. Lots of climbing (all 1.5 hours of it) and most of it with great views. On top, the summit was littered with all kinds of “humans”. Some talking on cell phones and some trying to locate a distant McDonalds. We enjoyed pistachoes and fig bars before we set out on an alternate descent.
Overall a good short hike. After we stopped at Lillies on the Pond for some great burgers. They affected our brain as we missed a couple exits coming back to our rendezvous point. It was fun and I am looking forward to more fun hikes possibly this weekend.
