Travel log j15 in the year 23. Studies of the devil dust night rides today. After we hope to hit the coast for contrast data collection.

Travel-log j14 of the year 23. We got about 5 hours to the west of Missoula and hare held up at a rest area for some sleep. We are getting used to brown. The color that fights the devel dust, that covers it up. And when the devel dust is gone we will once again see brown. Today we head to the Hood River area and beyond. So happy that things have become simple. Pee, coffee, and drive. So simple. So great.

Travel log j13 in the year of the 23rd. We are driving westward over the mountains to the sea.

Snowlog j12 in the year of the 23rd. I am glad the sun comes out. We are prepairing to head to the coast. Busy little bees we are.

Prison log j8, 2023. We tried to go winter camping. I know it is odd, but it’s our passion. And we love River. We drove north on I90 to St. Regis and then up 135. Surely we would find a campsite. All we found is snow and closed gates. No one camps in the winter? Bunch of powder puffs! Sorry, don’t mean to be mean. I just am frustrated. Why? Because we eventually drove all day ending up back at home. This after packing River for a couple hours, we then unpacked and winterized it for another 2 hours before bed. INDOORS! YUK … FUCK this. I am out! Nothing to be proud of … except the wonderful memories. This is a great place, right?

We had 4 days off and needed to get out of town. it would be practice for the Christmas break. With weather rolling in and absolute horrible driving conditions we did manage to have 2 days of exploration.
