    Reflections in Still Water

There’s something timeless about watching a swan glide effortlessly across a glassy lake. In this quiet corner of nature, where the sky meets the water and the mountains stand as silent witnesses, time seems to slow down.

On this particular day, Mo captured the peaceful rhythm of a trumpeter swan’s day, gracefully navigating the reflective water, rippling only the surface but leaving a deep impression. The landscape, vast and still, frames the swan like a living painting, with distant hills and wide-open skies giving the scene a dreamlike quality. The contrast of the white plumage against the natural earth tones makes the bird a quiet star in its own element.

It’s a place where you can feel the weight of stillness, where even the sound of your breath seems too loud. In moments like this, nature feels both grand and intimate, a reminder that the simple presence of a bird in its natural habitat can evoke a sense of peace that’s hard to find elsewhere.

Cuddles and I are at it again. 🚵‍♂️🌲

For me a perfect day for a trail ride through the forest, weaving between trees, and soaking in the calm. Mo of course, had to stop by the lake, because what’s an adventure without a little reflection? 🌿💦

Nature never disappoints. Neither does Cuddles. 😎

    Earth’s Raw Power

There’s something awe-inspiring about standing before a geyser, watching the raw energy of the earth erupt in clouds of steam and boiling water. Steamboat, the world’s tallest active geyser, feels like nature showing off, unpredictable and untamed.

Mo captures both the vibrant colors and the stark power of this geothermal wonder. From the rainbow-hued mineral pools to the billowing steam rising against a darkened sky, these images remind us that beneath the calm surface of the earth, there’s a whole world in motion.

    Coffees at the Window

The best part of our new surroundings is our favorite place. A place we visit in the mornings. A place of relaxation. A place of new ideas expanding into adventures. A place we consume our favorite beverage. We call this place Coffees at the Window.

    Sunlight in The Crazies

The Crazies were absolutely incredible! Biking through those sun-soaked trails, surrounded by towering trees and lush green, was pure adventure. Mo was ready for the challenge, and so was I, though that trailhead selfie of us, totally wiped but grinning ear-to-ear, tells you everything. After the ride, we set up camp in a perfect shady spot with our Element nearby, turning it into our own little basecamp. With our gear spread out, biking clothes drying, and the forest view through the open doors, it felt like I was completely immersed in nature. It was the kind of escape I’ll be chasing again soon.

    Nature in the Details

Mo’s lens captures the quiet beauty often overlooked, delicate flowers in soft light, rugged landscapes shaped by time, and golden grasses swaying in the breeze. These images remind us to slow down and appreciate the subtleties of the natural world, where every scene tells a story if you take a moment to look.
