Journey Through Memories: A Walk in the Big Cedars

In the tranquil embrace of the Olympic National Forest’s Hall of Big Cedars, each step I take is a journey through my own past, a reflection of the memories and stories shared in my blog over the years.

The ancient cedars, standing as silent witnesses to the passing of time, take me back to 2022. In my post “Time ⏲️ ⏳️”, I mused on the fleeting nature of time, much like the enduring presence of these trees. They remind me to cherish each moment, much as I did while crafting that post.

Moving deeper into the forest, the thrill of new experiences echoes my 2021 adventure in “New Bike Day”. The exhilaration of riding a new trail parallels the uncharted paths that weave through these woods.

The serene morning light filtering through the dense canopy brings to mind my 2020 reflection in “Morning Moment”. The calm and stillness here is reminiscent of that day’s peaceful introspection.

As I venture further, I recall the visual storytelling of my 2017 post, “Gooseberry Mesa”. The forest around me is a gallery of nature, each tree a masterpiece, much like the photographs that spoke volumes in that entry.

My thoughts drift to 2012, a pivotal year captured in “365”. Walking among these age-old trees, I’m reminded of the discipline and dedication it took to blog every day of that year, a journey as enduring as the life of these cedars.

2011’s post “New Year’s Eve” surfaces in my mind, reminiscent of the anticipation of a fresh start, much like the excitement of exploring a new forest trail.

The coziness of the 2007 entry, “Back Home and Resting”, is akin to the comforting embrace of the forest around me, a place to unwind and reflect.

Finally, my journey takes me back to 2005 and the whimsical “Roomba Entertains Lambert”. The playful antics of Roomba bring a smile to my face, much like the joy I find in these simple, natural surroundings.

Each tree, each path in this forest resonates with a story from my past, a blog post that captures a moment in time. As I walk through the Hall of Big Cedars, my heart is full of gratitude for these memories, a tapestry of experiences woven through the years.
