Recovered Right

Hello from Missoula Montana, completely recovered from last weekends race and ready to race again.  The problem is that there is no races for three weeks.  I am sad. The Twin Rivers Cyclists have updated their site with results (no times yet) so check that out. Also Scott Trost has uploaded hundreds of photos of the race (my favorite).  You can see why I love this race so much, the single-track is awesome.

On the home front I have refined my recovery wraps to include spinach! Also I have mentioned to friends that I work in a closet and thought it was time to prove it by posting a photo of my desk.  At least I get to sit with my bike.

In future news the Griz Man Adv Race is this weekend and I am curious how they are going to pull that off with a snow storms and highs only in the 40s in the forecast.

Shout Outs:

  • RBrown good luck to you and the girls, ride hard!
  • GT it is nice to be racing again and I loved your comment because it mentions more of why I like this race.  Good times!
  • Pablo thanks man for all the interest in my races, I wish you were there to witness the shoot out.  It was cool to be in.
  • Chris Rose sorry to make your mouth water, get the knee healed and start pedaling soon buddy. You should come out for the Butte 100 🙂
  • ROAR we are opposite of you, going from summer (short one) to winter as this weekend is supposed to be brutal. Thanks for the congrats and the race report from the East side. RBrown may not like the “largest one day race” comment lol, he is off to the Sea Otter this morning.  In the mountain bike world some don’t know that road racing even exists and the SO is pretty big.  Different worlds. Hey at our race this weekend Scott Trost took way more photos than your guy (like 500 or so).
  • ROAR sent me a link. Added CyclingFans.Com to my cycling links page.
  • Missoula mountain biker went to Nampa, ID and got a win in the 13th Annual Barking Spider Bash.  Good job Joe Chalmers! I wish I had the capitol to pull off such a long trip!
  • Team Northern Rockies who put on a great Rocky Mountain Roubaix and Team Stampede who just reported about it in their blog.
  • John Sieber for taking great photos of the RMR.
  • Montana Cross for posting results of the RMR.
