I have not been to any football games this season due to unemployment and the fact that the tickets are $22.00 a game. I do have friends that went to the game and they said it was a great game. I guess Hofstra came out swinging and it took two big plays for the Griz to tame their opponents by the second half. [blockquote]The Pride pulled within 20-to-13 on a 69-yard pass play from Bobby Seck to Devale Ellis just before halftime. And Gian Villante returned an interception 42 yards for a touchdown to tie the score at 20 in the third quarter. Montana responded when Craig Ochs connected with Levander Segars on a 75-yard pass play for a touchdown. Segars broke several tackles and spun out of others on his way to the end zone. Jefferson Heidelberger returned a kickoff 96 yards for another touchdown. Heidelberger caught 12 passes for 147 yards while Segars had six receptions for 108 yards. Ochs passed for a career high 364 yards. Freshman Dan Carpenter kicked field goals of 40 and 22 yards and made all five of his extra point attempts. Hofstra quarterback Bobby Seck passed for 300 yards and a touchdown. He was intercepted by Kevin Edwards in the first quarter, who scored on a 38-yard return. Montana could end up with a first-place ranking next week, after top-ranked Southern Illinois fell 23-22 to Northern Illinois.[/blockquote] ˜KPAX
