Guess what, folks? This weekend is gearing up to be an epic one. I’m talking about diving headfirst into a winter wonderland with an extreme camping and pack trip over Massachusetts’ four highest mountains. Yes, you heard that right. Extreme weather, extreme adventure!
As I write this on a crisp Friday morning, the thrill of the unknown is palpable. The weather forecast screams ‘extreme,’ so there’s a bit of a question mark hanging over the overnight part of the trip. But hey, that’s what makes it an adventure, right?
This week at work has been a journey in itself. Diving into a new project has had its ups and downs, but I’m coming out feeling more confident and ready for whatever the mountains throw at me.
Looking ahead, next weekend’s plans are already shaping up to be just as exciting. I’m eyeing some snowshoes for a climb up Mansfield in Vermont. And yes, you guessed it – another overnighter, this time in Burlington. It’s all about embracing the winter, one snowflake at a time.
