On the move

Hustle and Hikes: A Weekend Well Spent

Ah, Monday! The inevitable return after a weekend bustling with activity. This weekend was a whirlwind, balancing the practical with the adventurous, and I have to say, it was time well spent.

Saturday kicked off with some dedicated time on my website, followed by sorting out my finances. The recent trip back home to Arizona left a noticeable dent in my budget, but such is the price for memorable experiences. Yet, the day wasn’t all about numbers and screens. By evening, I found my escape on the trails of Sleeping Giant. The climb was rejuvenating, and Marcy, ever the eager companion, was thrilled to be out. We even caught some breathtaking sunset views, a perfect end to a productive day.

Sunday, the domestic day, started with the usual – laundry and grocery shopping. But it wasn’t all mundane. I went on a quest for a new headlamp, exploring various adventure stores, and indulged in some leisurely browsing at bookstores – my kind of relaxation. The day culminated with a hike up Bear Mountain. Yes, I guess you could say I’ve been on the move.

It’s weekends like these that remind me balance is key. A blend of duty, passion, and a bit of adventure is the recipe for a fulfilling life. Here’s to many more weekends of being ‘on the move’!
