It”s not a big thing, actually it is a small one. But all the little things add up to one big screwing. It’s vent time ladies and gentleman and here is the latest installment. I just received an e-mail from the powers that be that reminds us (like we are children in need of reminding) that Since the day after New Years falls on a Friday we are expected to report to work for 8 hours.
We are not to take a sick day or our benefits will be held back. If we do not want to come in for one unproductive day then we must take a vacation day.
Sikorsky knows full damn well that everyone will spend one of their vacation days so they regain that cost in trade for another day which will be more productive.
Me, I”m coming in, to screw off for 8 hours! So don”t say Happy Holidays to me just say Happy Holiday!
