So picture this: I’ve finally wrangled my latest batch of photos into submission, and let me tell you, they’re fire. Like, next-level fire. Last weekend, I conquered the mighty Escarpment Trail, summited North Point in the glorious Catskills, and even threw in a “been there, done that” stop at the ever-popular Katterskill Falls. It was like a nature documentary starring yours truly, minus the David Attenborough narration (although I wouldn’t mind a voice-over tbh).
Now, I know what you’re thinking: “Didn’t you just hike Hunter for some racing thing?” Guilty as charged! But listen, when you find a place that tickles your outdoorsy fancy, you gotta spread the love, right? Plus, I’m on a mission to collect “better experience” badges, like some kind of nature-loving Boy Scout. Sue me.
Speaking of missions, this weekend I’m doubling down on the Catskills adventure, then heading for the rolling hills of Massachusetts. Yeah, Greylock might feel like a molehill compared to the Catskills giants, but hey, gotta check it off the list, right? Besides, variety is the spice of life, and all that jazz.
