Mostly embarrassing. At the end of my 12 mile bike ride is the only hill and then I turn right onto my cul-de-sac. Picture the Laugh-In skit where the guy on the tricycle runs into something and tips over on his side. Total humiliation. I thought I outgrew it.

Lynn, There have been way too many knee injuries this year. I hope it is ok. Wow, that still must have hurt...a lot.

I ran into a parked car on ...

I ran into a parked car on my bike the other day. Broke the tail light with my kneecap. Kneecap is swollen, but I don't think it's broken. Unfortunately, I don't think I'm going to get pretty discoloration on my knee. It's a dull green. Congratulations on your Butte 100!!
