Finger That Out

OK, I admit it, I am supposed to be out skiing. But I am not and it is because I was up all night getting just one batch of pictures done and Adobe CS set up to make my work-flow a little faster. Now as I read Outside Missoula and sift through todays web headlines with my cup-o-mocha (thanks Paul for the Ghirardelli's) I have come across evidence that paying for goods at a grocery store just may get a whole lot easier as well. Instead of using your bank card for a purchase you use your finger.

"The service debits the consumer's checking account without them writing a check or using an ATM card," said Jon Siegal, executive vice president at Pay By Touch. "The transaction is more secure because they're not showing a number that can be copies or stolen." TechWeb.com

I think this idea is smart. No more trying to remember a pin number or password and your finger print is unique ... right? I wonder what happens if you have cut or mangled your finger on a mountain bike crsh?
