New Application At Work

I work at MARS Stout Inc. as the entire web services programming staff. I am it! I make sure the web servers are running as well as PHP and MySQL. I have been working on a great application for our Tourism Services Division. Today I launched into the public a portion of the application called Travelers Advantage. Most of the site is still not fully functional but the “Plan A Vacation” >> “Activities” is up and running in all its glory. This application not only uses my Bortal Technology, PHP, and MySQL but a remote Database. What is significant is that the Database is owned and maintained by the state of Montana. So my application makes navigating the massive database a snap and within no more than 3 clicks you have something to do in Montana. I plan to finish by adding “Places To Go”, “Events Calendar”, “Places to stay” along with city info complete with maps. So I have a ways to go but with most of the framework in place things will go much faster. Links:
