If you think about it commuting is the biggest waist of time in a human life. If you travel to and from your job for 1 hour a day that is like 250 hours of driving. 250 hours of not only wasted time to live but it costs you as well in the pocket book. That is like 10.5 days totally gone with money going to the petroleum people. I don’t travel that much to work, instead I bike for 15 minutes and I am there.

Looking out the window here at work with a latte in hand I can say that I do commute though. Remembering that I live in Missoula and work in Bozeman I actually travel 3 hours to and 3 hours back every weekend. That is like 1 entire day lost each and every month due to traveling back and forth. For me it is totally worth it due to who I am going to see but it not only has become quite old but really, if you think about it, is not optimal living.

Yeah, commuting is a major
Yeah, commuting is a major waste of time that you will never get back. It is also free training time if you can ride to work (which I can't). Driving 3 or so hours for someone special? Well that can make the difference between a lonely, seemingly pointless life and one which is rich and full of hopes and dreams. Easily 3 hours well spent?
