Wednesday Cyclocross Series

The Missoula series is being sponsored by Big Sky Brewing, (officially it is the Big Sky Brewing Wednesday Cyclocross Series) and will be held at the brewery on the west edge of Missoula. Racing will start September 15 and continue for 5 weeks. 5:45 start time. The tap room closes at 6:30, so spectators will be forced out of the tap room in time to see the race finish. Big Sky will also have beer at the finish line for all after each race. There will be all the goodies and bagels and brownies and cookies you have come to expect from this series. Open Road and Missoula Bicycle Works are also kicking down for the series. There are a few rugged 100 foot run-ups that are sure to slow Jamul down a little. Entry fee is $5 per race or $20 for the series. Shaun Fulmer is the series czar this year. There will be Big Sky BBQ after the last race. Like last year, series scoring will be as follows: 1st: 20 points plus 1 point for each person racer beats (in racer"s class). 2nd: 12 points plus 1 point for each person racer beats. 3rd: 8 points plus 1 point for each person racer beats. 4th: 5 points plus 1 point for each person racer beats. 5th: 2 points plus 1 point for each person racer beats. all other finishers get 1 point for each person racer beats.
