WELCOME TO MY RESEARCH SITE

This is a site that I will represent my research in Perl Programming and System Administration.  My example will address some issues defined in Andrew Heuneman's "To Do list", specifically:

"In Linux, the default is that every user has a default group of the same name as the user. On nexus6 that default was not used -- most users got "users" as their default group but even that was not done consistently. Write scripts which can convert the group definitions to the Linux default. "

This site contains my individual progress of research in which should be updated weekly. The following are some of the pages that can be accessed from this main page:

Research Paper: The official publication for this project.

Programs: This is where I will document my top down designs of the programs that I will construct with the Perl language. Some code that I have constructed so far: cpf.pl cgf.pl cfp.pl . I have finished my final program version 1.

Evaluation Form: The oral and written presentations along with individuals web sites are to be evaluated. Here you will find the evaluation form constructed by Dr. Plaza. My personel Template is available but usually for my use.

Research Plan: Here is my plan of attack which is currently being worked on. Also I have created a color coded calendar to visually show the due dates and deliverables for this class.

Lab Needs: This page concerns class meeting two in which we discussed the needs of our lab here on campus. Some of these ideas will be addressed with my research.

Speech Elements: This page concerns the elements of a good presentation.

Paper Criteria: This page is like the Speech Elements page in which discusses the points of a good written presentation.

Journal: Some notes on my research and weekly thoughts as my research evolves.

Class Page Links: These are links to the important references to this class. They include syllabus, agreement (class), official "To Do" list for our lab, class forum, classmates (and their sites), the professor, and of course our campus website.
